The government of Balochistan has launched a fully funded scholarship programme for the top-performing matriculation students from every district in Balochistan for 2026.
The Balochistan Education Endowment Fund officially announced the Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Matric District Toppers Scholarship under the directives of Mir Sarfraz Bugti.
BEEF Chief Executive Officer Muhammad Khalid Mandai confirmed the launch, stating that the programme targets talented students who secured top positions in the 2026 examinations.
Under the scheme, the top 10 students from each district will receive funding, comprising five boys and five girls identified through the annual matriculation results.
Merit list and objection process
A provisional merit list has been prepared using data supplied by the respective education boards responsible for conducting the 2026 annual matriculation examinations.
Officials clarified that the current list remains provisional, and eligible students who do not find their names listed may submit formal objection applications.
Students wishing to raise objections or submit scholarship applications must approach the BEEF office no later than 30 June 2026 with relevant documentation.
