In recent news, Image Pakistan Limited has announced that it will be forming a tech subsidiary for tax incentives in order to avail the recently announced incentives stated by the government for technology companies. This includes benefits in regards to digital electronics and internet-related services.

Companies in such similar domains have been provided a 100 percent tax credit against their tax liability for over three years hence this would allow Image Pakistan to make Rs. 200 million in capital investment.

Moreover, after becoming the first approved seller on Amazon the company has moved towards the manufacturing and marketing of value-added embroidered fabric and printed lawn while using the brand name ‘Image’.

For years Pakistan has not been on Amazon’s list of sellers but with the announcement made by Amazon, retailers will now be able to sell their products on the marketplace. Before that, companies and retailers had to register themselves through other companies.

As of now, Amazon’s seller’s list will provide exporters to sell their products through its platform giving users access to market their products through the 3P model. This primarily brands the owners with a third-party relationship hence allowing buyers to sell directly through the marketplace.
