Meta says its expanded AI processing capacity is now delivering stronger results for advertisers. The company credits upgrades to its ad ranking systems for a steady boost in clicks and conversions. Meta made the claim in a note to advertisers on October 28, 2026.
Specifically, Meta reported that Facebook saw 8.3% more ad clicks and a 15.7% uplift in conversions during Q2 2026. These gains came from improvements to the ad ranking stack. However, the Q3 2026 numbers show the improvements are still compounding.

In Q3 2026, Meta rolled out further changes to its Andromeda system. Andromeda is the first step in ad display and now considers a wider range of product matches for each business. As a result, Andromeda improvements alone drove a 1.4% increase in Facebook conversions.
Meta also introduced generative retrieval on the Facebook Feed. Specifically, this system drove nearly a 2% increase in conversions across targeted segments. Furthermore, Meta’s AI business assistant is now rolling out to more advertisers. The assistant delivers 5% more conversions at the same ad spend.
Three AI systems power most of these improvements. First, Andromeda widens the pool of relevant matches between products and users. Second, the Generative Ads Recommendation Model (GEM) processes more signals to improve ad relevance. Third, GenRecs matches ad engagement with user preferences even for brand-new ads with little history.
Partnership ads also had a strong quarter. Specifically, these ads grew more than 97% year over year. In addition, the format has surpassed a $15 billion annual revenue run-rate. Furthermore, Meta is developing checkout options inside its AI agents, including Muse. As a result, users may soon buy products directly inside AI chat flows.
