The Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak has issued a statement saying that his government has set up an information technology board with the aim of equipping the youth with innovative technology. This is because the future is heavily reliant on technological digitization.

As a way of boosting the economic development of his province, the Chief Minister had stated that the focus of his government is to improve the situation of the human resource development agenda. In this way, the region can benefit from the capabilities brought about by technology.

The Chief Minister said this while addressing the inaugural ceremony of a digital seminar. It was a surprise for the minister to learn that while there was a lot of technology available to make use of, the reality on the ground was rather disheartening. Even with all the resources at the government’s disposal, little had been done to facilitate the implementation of technology on the ground. He thus said that while the government already had in place great plans to implement technology and clear targets, there was still the need to do more to reap from the efforts of the government. To fill that gap, he said that his government will invest in more planning and better execution of the plans for great results.

His main focus was on ensuring the province attracted as many local and international investors as possible. With the establishment of the information technology board, the government was dealing away with the hopelessness observed in the youth. Together with all those who attended the seminar, there was overwhelming assurance that the opportunities for the youth would be increased to make their future bright. With technology, the youth would be given a chance to develop themselves in many ways.
