The Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) has announced the results of the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) Part-II Science General Group annual examinations 2026, with a pass percentage of 56.54 percent.
Jannat Bint Ali Dost of Concordia College, Gulshan-e-Hadeed Campus, secured first position, scoring 1,005 out of 1,100 marks with an A-One grade. Hamza Shakeel, son of Shakeel Ahmed, from Adamjee Government Science College, claimed second position with 1,003 marks, also in the A-One grade.
Third position went to Laiba Zulfiqar of Bahria College, M.T. Khan Road, who obtained 989 marks.
BIEK Chairman Faqir Muhammad Lakho announced the results and commended Adamjee Government Science College for its performance, noting that the college had already secured the top three positions in the Pre-Engineering group before producing the second-position holder in the Science General Group.
He said the achievement reflected the efforts of students, teachers and college administration, and added that the strong performance of government institutions in the intermediate results pointed to continuing improvement in educational standards across Sindh.
Controller of Examinations Zareena Rashid provided further details, stating that 18,913 candidates had registered for the Science General Group examinations, of whom 18,591 appeared.
Of these, 10,511 candidates passed. The grade-wise breakdown showed 748 candidates securing A-One grade, 2,193 in A grade, 3,184 in B grade, 3,076 in C grade, 1,280 in D grade and 20 in E grade.
