Oppo’s upcoming Find X10 series could introduce a new OLED display technology from Tianma. The company is expected to launch the Find X10 lineup in September, although Oppo has not announced a date yet.
Oppo and Tianma recently introduced the Tianma Tiangong Screen 2.0 at an event in China. According to a report, the technology could make its debut with the Find X10 series.
The new panel uses Tianma’s N1 primary-colour spectrum material. It can reduce harmful blue light by 3.7% and raise deep-red light output to 5.5%. Tianma also claims 16% better power efficiency and nearly 33% longer panel life.
The display does not bring upgrades to resolution or refresh rate. However, it includes Tianma’s AI De-Mura intelligent control algorithm. This technology can reduce screen brightness to as low as 0.01 nits.
Oppo has also shared details about its new OLED screen technology on Weibo. However, the company has not confirmed Tianma’s involvement or said that the panel will appear on the Find X10 series.
Oppo says its fourth-generation OLED light-emitting material supports 95% of the BT.2020 colour gamut. The company claims it can produce softer and more natural colours.
The new technology could also make long viewing sessions more comfortable. Oppo says the improved display can help reduce eye fatigue, adding another focus beyond brightness and colour quality.
With the Find X10 series expected in September, more details should emerge closer to launch. For now, Oppo has not confirmed whether Tianma’s new display will ship with its next flagship phones.
