Season 3 & 4: Volatile Gunslinger & MEKA Tank
First up in June is the Season 3 hero. She leads the Kanezaka branch of the Hashimoto clan. She is the exact operative who sent Season 1’s Mizuki to spy on Kiriko. Players will get a Sharpshooter Damage hero wielding dual pistols and a bayonet. The leaker describes her as a volatile “Cassidy 2.0” and compares her to Revy from Black Lagoon. Her release drops alongside the upcoming “Japan Night” map.
Next, Season 4 arrives in August. It introduces a highly anticipated Tank hero. D.Mon, D.Va’s MEKA squadmate, finally joins the roster. She wields a hard-light sword and a shield. Furthermore, D.Mon brings a completely new type of health to the game. This mechanic remains distinct from standard armor or shields. She also operates as a highly mobile flying character, similar to Angela in Marvel Rivals.
Season 5 & 6: Expanding the Overwatch Iceland Lore
Season 5 launches in October. It shifts the narrative focus to the newly confirmed Iceland prison. The upcoming Support hero is an Omnic detective. They investigate the prison for either Helix Security or the International Justice Commission. This detective wields a cane and projects a unique anti-heal aura.
Finally, Season 6 drops in December. It introduces another Support hero named Hivemind. This character is already established in the lore. “Overwatch: Declassified” revealed her as the Talon operative responsible for Reinhardt’s forced retirement. Originally spotted in the Project Titan concepts, Hivemind commands an army of diamond-shaped drones. According to the leak, Vendetta builds a robot in Iceland using Junker Queen’s captured Null Sector command ship. This robot subsequently attacks the facility and breaks Hivemind out of the Iceland prison.
