In addition to the launch of its ultra-premium handset OnePlus 7 Pro, the Shenzhen based company has also introduced a smaller variant which is OnePlus 7 at a price of $640.

This is the first time ever that OnePlus has launched two new smartphones at once and if you add the 5G version of the OnePlus 7 Pro, the count reaches to three handsets.

As compared to the monster OnePlus 7 Pro phone, the simple OnePlus 7 variant packs a pretty big punch as well. The phone features a teardrop notch style display with 16MP Auto-HDR selfie camera and a 48MP Sony IMX586 main camera. The rear camera comes with optical image stabilization and a 5MP secondary depth sensor for taking amazing pictures in portrait mode.

The smartphone features a 6.41 inches, Optic AMOLED capacitive touchscreen, covered with Gorilla Glass. The display also has an in-display optical fingerprint sensor. The rear side of the phone also has a Gorilla Glass protection on it, and the same dual stereo speakers similar to those in OnePlus 7 Pro.

The smartphone also packs the same top of the line Qualcomm SDM855 Snapdragon 855 processor, and up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of fast UFS 3.0 storage space. The battery capacity of the smartphone is a little low with 3,700mAh. The device also features a dual-sim option, which shows that the company maybe is not planning to sell this device in the US.

So, if you have a low budget and you are planning to buy a strong mid-range device that is going to last longer, you should go for this option. The OnePlus 7 will be available to buy in June, with 6GB or 8GB RAM and 128GG or 256GB variants.
