The Health & Population Department of Punjab has announced a new internship program for PharmD students, graduates, and postgraduates under the Directorate of Drugs Control, aiming to enhance professional training and capacity in the pharmaceutical sector.
According to officials, the program is open to candidates from public sector universities across the province. Eligible applicants include final-year PharmD students awaiting results, graduates who completed their degree within the last two years, and individuals holding MPhil or Master’s degrees in relevant fields within the same timeframe.
The department has made it clear that all applications must be submitted online. Interested candidates are required to register through the official portal, complete their profiles, and upload all necessary documents. Authorities emphasized that no offline or manual submissions will be entertained.
The deadline to apply for the internship is May 12, 2026, with the application window closing at midnight.
The initiative is part of the Punjab government’s broader efforts to provide practical experience to pharmacy graduates and strengthen regulatory and healthcare systems in the province.
