Punjab School Education Department has released a uniform schedule for the first-term School Based Assessment (SBA) for students from Class 1 to Class 8 across the province. The assessments will run from September 18 to September 30 and will be conducted within schools.
The item bank for the assessment will be uploaded on September 14, giving schools a four-day window, from September 14 to 17, to prepare examination papers using the Item Bank System. All papers must be developed strictly in line with the prescribed SOPs, syllabus, paper pattern, and date sheet.
Marking of the assessment papers will take place from September 18 to October 4, and schools have been directed to upload student results on the Student Information System by the same deadline. Report cards will be issued to parents on October 5, when schools will also hold parent-teacher meetings to discuss student performance.
The department said the schedule has been made uniform across all schools in Punjab to ensure consistency in the conduct and evaluation of the first-term assessments.
