Samsung may be working on its own version of Apple AirPod like earphones. These earphones may come with the Galaxy Note 8, which is set to launch on August 23. The Samsung’s new earphones will be powered by Bixby, Samsung’s smart assistant that came with the Galaxy S8 and S8+.

The new earphones will also feature noise-canceling technology. They will be wireless, just like the Apple AirPod and could be as expansive as the AirPod.

As mentioned, the new earphones will be powered by Bixby. But newly launched Bixby has not a lot of users as compared to Apple’s Siri or Google Assitant for now. Samsung might need to improve on Bixby and get more traction before they launch more devices powered by it.

Previously, a Samsung’s smart speaker powered by Bixby was also in rumors but those rumors seem to be fading away with time. The Bixby smart speaker was meant to rival Amazon Echo, Google Home, Apple’s HomePod speaker. In other reports, Alibaba is also working on a smart speaker which will let users order products from its website.
