Snapchat is working on its own “Login with Snapchat” feature for third-party apps

Snapchat is planning to introduce its first ever developer platform called Snap kit.

The platform will let other applications to give a “Login with Snapchat” option and provide them with certain Snapchat features. As per the report, Snapchat will allow its users to log into different other applications by having a Snapchat account. This means users won’t have to make a new account in order to create a new login. Every time when we log into third-party apps, there’s always an option “login with Facebook”. Now,  Login via Snapkit would be safe as compared to Facebook especially after data breach scandal.

Furthermore, Snapkit’s login feature would allow users to share their Bitmoji avatar to other platforms. Back in 2016,
Snapchat paid $64.2 million for Bitmoji’s parent company Bitstrips, so it would make sense to try and attract as many users to the Bitmoji platform as possible.

Snapchat has always introduced useful new features for its users. Just yesterday we reported that Snapchat has introduced sound powered filters in the app that react to the sound. Now, when users open the Snapchat, they’ll see the lens that seems very simple at first glance. A new lens is just like an animal mask with ear and eyes that pulse, shine and move depends on the sound your phone’s microphone receives. When the app detects sound, the ears begin to grow and glow depending on the noise levels it picks up. The lens has an ability to react more with loud and strong sounds. The company plans to launch more lenses in the coming weeks.
