The final season of Stranger Things may have aired at the start of the year, but the franchise is far from done telling stories set in Hawkins.
Dark Horse Comics has released Stranger Things Volume 10: Tales from Hawkins, a new 96-page paperback anthology written by Derek Fridolfs and illustrated by artists Sunando C, Bradley Clayton, Mack Chater, and Vincenzo Riccardi.
The collection, which went on sale March 10, is part of an ongoing anthology series designed to revisit moments from the show through new eyes and expand on corners of the lore the television series only touched briefly. This volume contains four stories, each offering a distinct perspective on events fans thought they already knew.
The first follows beloved Hawkins Middle School science teacher Mr. Clarke and his harrowing encounter with Dart the demodog at the Hawkins drive-in theatre, fleshing out a scene that became a fan favourite in the show. The second tells the story of Will Byers witnessing the horror of the Upside Down, going deeper into his “Zombie Boy” era than the series ever did. A third story explores the backstory of Grigori, the lethal KGB agent from Season 3, tracing his journey from post-war Russia to the American Midwest. And the fourth, perhaps most intriguingly, retells the ill-fated Hawkins Lab experiment and the carnage that started everything, this time from the Demogorgon’s own perspective.
Fridolfs is known for his work on Batman: Li’l Gotham and Secret Hero Society, and brings a similar knack for character-driven storytelling to the Stranger Things universe. The anthology format has proven popular with fans looking for new Hawkins content between major releases.
Stranger Things series finale earlier this year generated intense fan discussion, and a new animated spin-off series remains in production with a rumored late 2026 release. Volume 10 is available at comic book stores and online retailers for approximately $20 or £17.99 or around PKR 5,700.
