WhatsApp has introduced a Guest Calling feature that lets users invite anyone to join a call, even without a WhatsApp account. The calls have no time limits and remain protected by end-to-end encryption.
When someone receives a call invitation, they enter a waiting room first. They can join the call only after the host approves their request. Hosts can also remove guests at any time.
The feature also protects participants’ privacy. Guests cannot see other participants’ phone numbers, message them, or call them directly. However, they can share their screens, send reactions, and raise their hands during calls.

Users can access Guest Calling through WhatsApp’s Calls section. They can generate an invitation link and share it with anyone they want to join the conversation.
Additionally, WhatsApp plans to integrate the feature with Google Calendar and Outlook Calendar later this year. These integrations will let users create WhatsApp call links directly from their calendars, making it easier to schedule calls.
