Xiaomi has launched the 17T series in China after its global debut last month. The lineup includes the Xiaomi 17T and the Xiaomi 17T Pro. The Chinese versions bring a small but notable upgrade for the standard model. It now carries the same 7,000mAh Si/C battery as the Pro variant. This is a 500mAh increase over the global model. However, charging speed remains limited to 67W.
Apart from the battery change on the 17T and an added 16GB RAM option for the 17T Pro, the rest of the specifications stay the same as global models. Xiaomi has not made major hardware changes in this regional update.
The Xiaomi 17T features a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra chipset. The device comes with 12GB RAM and up to 512GB storage. On the camera side, it includes a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP periscope lens with 5x optical zoom, and a 12MP ultrawide camera.
The Xiaomi 17T Pro offers a larger 6.83-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the Dimensity 9500 processor. The phone supports up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. It also features a larger 1/1.31-inch main camera sensor. Additionally, it supports up to 8K video recording.
Pricing for the Xiaomi 17T in China starts at CNY 2,999, which converts to $443 or €385. The top variant costs CNY 3,499, around $517 or €450. Meanwhile, the Xiaomi 17T Pro starts at CNY 3,999, equal to $591 or €513. The highest-end model is priced at CNY 4,799, about $709 or €616.
