Xiaomi has introduced a fresh new look for the Poco X8 Pro to bring more attention to its mid-range smartphone lineup. The company unveiled a new Bold Yellow color option that gives the device a sportier and more eye-catching design.
According to Xiaomi, the new color takes inspiration from racing tracks. The design includes bold stripes and black accents around the frame. This type of accented frame is not common in smartphones, which helps the Poco X8 Pro stand out from other devices in the segment.
At the back, the phone carries a more industrial-style appearance. Xiaomi added visible bolt-like details along with a semi-transparent design effect. As a result, the device looks more aggressive and modern compared to the standard variants.
The Poco X8 Pro also keeps its Dynamic RGB LED lighting around the camera module. However, the lighting system is not visible in the official images shared by the company. This new bold yellow version now joins the existing Black, White, and Mint Green color options. It also sits alongside the Iron Man Edition, which received attention during its release a few months ago.
Xiaomi is offering the Bold Yellow variant in three memory configurations. These include 8GB/256GB, 8GB/512GB, and 12GB/512GB models. However, the company skipped the 12GB/256GB option that is available in the other standard colors.
The new color variant launches at a starting price of $369. That makes it slightly more expensive than the Poco X8 Pro’s original launch price of $330 back in March.
