The Rawalpindi Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) has announced plans to install Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) cameras in all examination centers for the 2025 Matriculation and Intermediate exams. This initiative seeks to promote enhanced clarity and equity throughout the evaluation procedure.
The newly implemented surveillance system is set to oversee exam conduct while simultaneously improving the marking process for annual, supplementary, and practical exams. Board Chairman Adnan Khan has directed his team to gather information regarding the current CCTV setups in examination halls at government schools and colleges throughout the Rawalpindi Division.
Cameras will be installed promptly in areas lacking current surveillance systems. Furthermore, private schools will cease to serve as examination centers for the forthcoming exams. Exam papers will be revealed and distributed in front of students under CCTV cameras to increase transparency.
To streamline the process, details regarding the installed cameras have been collected from college directors, deputy directors and district education authorities. The board is committed to implementing rigorous oversight across all centers to deter misconduct and uphold the integrity of examinations. College and district education officials from several locations have submitted camera installation reports.
