Social Media Lights Up With Memes After Chatgpt Goes Down

A large number of users, mostly in the US, have reported problems with OpenAI’s ChatGPT AI software, which just went down. It was verified by OpenAI that the bugs were impacting the user experience. OpenAI has confirmed that X, formerly known as Twitter, experienced a worldwide outage.

From 10 am to 1 pm, thousands of users reported problems with ChatGPT, according to Downdetector, an Ookla platform that tracks the performance of websites and online services.

The official statement read, “Most of ChatGPT, the API, and Sora have been down for a couple of hours and we’re sorry for the trouble this is causing. We’ve identified the issue and have started recovery. We hope to be back asap.” Later, the AI company confirmed that the issues causing the outage were almost resolved. It said, “We are almost fully back online now, we appreciate your patience!”

After the breakdown, social media quickly became full of memes and reactions where people made fun of their anger over this issue.

News broke that ChatGPT was down worldwide, which prompted many people to post comments on social media. Everywhere, productivity is about to fall.
