UNESCO to Upgrade Girls’ Schools With Smart Classrooms in GB

ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training, along with UNESCO, is starting a new project to create smart classes in 40 girls’ schools in Gilgit-Baltistan.

Officials have stated that the initiative’s goals include making education better and making learning more interesting for students. As a first step, the government is focussing on five districts—Nagar, Ghizer, Shigar, Diamer, and Kharmang—to increase access to education and digital literacy, especially for girls living in rural areas.

Smart classrooms, according to officials, will allow students a more immersive learning experience, digital resources, and interactive learning tools. They think it can change the way students learn in the area and provide young girls with the tools they need to be successful in the IT industry.

Nausheen Barkat, the first female CEO of Bee Company from Hunza, gave an inspiring talk about business at Islamabad College for Girls (F-6/2).

Barkat, who has achieved phenomenal success in the Shark Tank contests with her strategic proposals, recently gave a speech about how to create a self-sustaining future through innovation and entrepreneurial thinking. She also praised the education ministry’s efforts, noting how they help shape the future of students.
