On Monday, gold prices dropped by Rs1,400 to close at Rs444,900 per tola. As per APGJSA, the international price of gold stayed at $4,235 per ounce, including a $20 premium. Meanwhile, silver was priced at Rs5,261 per tola.

Internationally, gold price updates showed a slight decline as investors booked profits after bullion touched an all-time high on Monday. Spot gold slipped 0.3% to $4,340.29 per ounce as of 0248 GMT, after hitting a record $4,381.21 in the previous session. U.S. gold futures for December delivery also eased 0.1% to $4,356.40 per ounce.
