The Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication has extended the proposal submission deadline for the National Unified Super App project, a major initiative aimed at digitizing public services across Pakistan.
The deadline, initially set for March 31, 2026, has now been pushed to April 10, 2026, after authorities received a lower-than-expected response from technology firms.
The National Unified Super App and Web Portal is being developed under the Digital Economy Enhancement Project(DEEP), a flagship initiative supported by the World Bank. The platform is designed to provide citizens with seamless access to a wide range of government services through a single digital interface.
Once launched, the app will allow users to access services such as license renewals, tax filing, and permit applications, eliminating the need for multiple platforms or physical visits to government offices.
The super app is expected to offer 24/7 access across mobile and web platforms and will support multiple languages to ensure wider accessibility. It will also integrate with the national digital identity system managed by National Database and Registration Authority, enabling secure authentication through digital IDs.
Additional features will include personalized dashboards and a single sign-on system linked to national identity credentials, aimed at improving efficiency and user experience.
Aligned with Pakistan’s broader digital strategies, including the Cloud First policy and e-governance standards, the platform will use a microservices-based architecture. This will allow easy integration of new services and third-party solutions while enhancing automation, communication, and service delivery.
The initiative is seen as a key step toward accelerating Pakistan’s digital transformation and improving transparency in public service delivery.
