Apple may soon offer one of its biggest Apple Card promotions yet. According to Mark Gurman from Bloomberg, the company plans to launch a new in-store deal as early as next week.
The offer appears to be simple. Customers who sign up for an Apple Card at an Apple retail store will receive $249 in cash back when they buy the new AirPods Pro 3. Since the earbuds also cost $249, buyers would essentially get them for free.
However, the promotion will reportedly only work at physical Apple stores. Online purchases may not qualify for the cashback offer. Apple first launched the Apple Card in the US in 2019. The company introduced the card with support from Goldman Sachs and Mastercard.
The digital credit card works directly on the iPhone and gives users cashback on purchases. Apple calls this reward system “Daily Cash,” and users receive money back after every eligible payment.
If the new offer becomes official, it could help Apple attract more Apple Card users while also boosting sales of the upcoming AirPods Pro 3.
