Apple introduced a new App Store feature called Personalized Collections at its Worldwide Developers Conference 2026. These collections deliver app and game recommendations based on each user’s interests and activity. They are designed to feel more relevant and useful over time.
Each suggestion will also include App Notes. These notes explain why a specific app or game appears in recommendations. This adds more context for users before they download anything.
Apple will show these personalized recommendations across the Apps tab, Games tab, and Search tab. The system will continue to learn from user behavior, including downloads and usage patterns. Personalized Collections will start rolling out this week in English for users in the United States. However, Apple says support for more languages and regions will arrive soon.
At the same event, Apple also highlighted new tools for game developers. Developers will now be able to promote special offers through the Apple Games app. This will happen using featured nominations.
These nominations allow developers to suggest in-game offers or limited-time discounts. The App Store editorial team will review these submissions before they go live. Later this year, Apple will also upgrade how apps appear on the App Store. Developers will be able to add richer images and videos. These will appear in product page headers and even in search results.
In addition, Apple is introducing new subscription options for groups and organizations. These tools are built to support multi-user in-app purchase experiences.
Group purchases will allow users to buy multiple subscriptions in a single transaction. After that, they can invite others to access the subscription. Apple will manage the invitation system to keep the process simple and smooth.
Finally, App Store Bundles will let developers team up. They can offer combined apps or services at a lower price. This gives users more value while helping developers reach a wider audience.
