Vivo’s upcoming X500 series is set to launch in China next month. Ahead of the launch, a new vivo smartphone has appeared on Geekbench, offering an early look at its hardware. The phone carries the model number V2610 and is believed to be the vivo X500 Pro Max. The listing shows a MediaTek MT6995 chipset with eight cores and a 3.10GHz base frequency.
The chipset includes two cores clocked at 4.55GHz and three cores running at 4.35GHz. The remaining three cores operate at 3.10GHz. The phone also packs 12GB of RAM. Geekbench lists the device as running Android 17. It scored 2,574 points in the single-core test. Meanwhile, its multi-core score reached 7,756 points.
The source claims the MT6995 could be the unreleased MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro. MediaTek has not yet officially confirmed this chipset. The X500 Pro Max is also confirmed to feature a custom Sony Phantom 900 sensor. The camera system will support 3° optical image stabilisation, which could improve stability during photography.
