The Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) has announced the schedule for renewal of affiliation for government and private colleges and higher secondary schools for the 2026-27 academic session.
According to BIEK, institutions seeking to add a new group or faculty must include the request with their affiliation renewal application. The fee for adding a new group or faculty has been set at Rs. 27,000, while the regular affiliation renewal fee is Rs. 22,500.
The deadline for submitting affiliation renewal applications is October 16, 2026. Institutions submitting their applications after October 19 will be required to pay an additional Rs. 1,000 surcharge.
Another Rs. 1,000 surcharge will apply to applications submitted after November 2, while the final deadline is November 11, 2026.
BIEK has made the affiliation renewal pro forma available on its official website. Affiliated institutions have been advised to complete the renewal process within the announced deadlines to avoid additional charges and ensure their affiliation remains valid for the 2026-27 academic session.
