Huawei’s latest flagship, the Mate 90 Pro Max, lets users keep three SIM connections active simultaneously. The feature sets it apart from most smartphones, which typically support two active SIM connections.
Huawei launched the Mate 90 Pro Max in China alongside the Mate 90, Mate 90 Pro, and Mate 90 RS. An X user recently highlighted the triple-SIM feature, which is also confirmed on Huawei’s official specifications page.
The Mate 90 Pro Max supports two physical SIM cards and two eSIMs. However, users can activate only three connections at once, combining two physical SIMs with one eSIM. Huawei also requires two of the three active connections to use the same Chinese carrier.
Beyond its SIM capabilities, the Mate 90 Pro Max features a Kirin 9050 Pro chipset and a 6.9-inch display. The phone also comes with a triple rear camera system and a 6,800mAh battery.
