The Punjab government will distribute laptops and Honahar Scholarships to students from Sahiwal, Okara, and Pakpattan on October 15 as part of its provincial education initiatives.
Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat announced that Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz will distribute the scholarships and laptops at the University of Sahiwal. He added that similar ceremonies will be held across all nine divisions of Punjab during October and November.
The initiative aims to support students through educational assistance and access to technology. According to the minister, the upcoming event will bring together students from the three districts, with further ceremonies planned for other divisions in the coming weeks.
Hayat expressed hope that the government would complete the distribution ceremonies across all nine divisions within the announced timeframe. However, officials have not yet disclosed the total number of laptops and scholarships to be distributed at each event.
