Apple could begin production of the standard iPhone 18 by the end of November, according to a new leak. The company launched the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max in September, while the regular iPhone 18 is expected to arrive next spring.
A source on Weibo claims that the iPhone 18 will enter production in late November. The source also suggests that Apple plans to produce a large number of units, based on the expected stock volume.
However, the latest claim differs from an earlier post by the same tipster. A few days ago, the source said Apple would reduce expected iPhone 18 stock while focusing more on the iPhone 18 Pro Max and its foldable iPhone Duo.
The two reports appear to conflict, although the latest claim does not specify what the expected stock volume is being compared with. Therefore, it remains unclear how many units Apple plans to produce.
Meanwhile, a March launch would fit the reported production timeline. The same tipster expects Apple to release the iPhone 18 alongside the iPhone 18e that month.
Previous leaks suggest the standard iPhone 18 will feature a 6.3-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone is also rumored to use Apple’s A20 chipset and include 9GB of RAM.
Apple has not confirmed the production schedule, launch date, or rumored specifications. These details should be treated as unverified until the company makes an official announcement.
