Oppo has started rolling out its ColorOS 17 update to the recently launched Oppo F35 Pro. The update is part of the company’s third rollout wave for its latest operating system.
The new software brings several improvements to the F-series lineup. One of the key additions is ColorOS Smoothness Boost, a feature designed exclusively for F-series devices. It further optimizes system responsiveness and helps maintain smooth performance over time.
The feature also works alongside ColorOS 17’s Laminar Flow engine. Together, they aim to deliver a more fluid experience during everyday use.
ColorOS 17 also introduces new AI-powered security features. AI Call Guard alerts users to possible fraud involving synthetic voices and AI-manipulated faces during calls and video interactions. Meanwhile, Private Computing Cloud (PCC) protects personal data, keeping it private even from Oppo.
The Oppo F35 Pro is a mid-range smartphone that launched early last month. It is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 7360 chipset and packs a large 8,000mAh battery.
