Grow Safe has commissioned a 500-gallon-per-minute fire hydrant system at a pharmaceutical facility in the SITE Industrial Area of Karachi, delivering a skid-mounted Electric-Diesel-Jockey setup designed for major industrial fire emergencies.
The system includes 22 hose reels, 10 hydrant points, two foam reels, and an integrated fire sprinkler system. It was designed using hydraulic calculations to ensure optimal performance across multiple discharge points during simultaneous use.
The capability of the system was tested shortly after commissioning when it supported firefighting operations at a neighboring chemical manufacturing facility, where it performed reliably in protecting industrial assets and surrounding communities.
At the inauguration, Pharmatec Pakistan Group Chairman Pervez Hayat Noon noted that the project was completed with more than 11,000 safe man-hours and no Lost Time Injuries, reflecting the company’s commitment to occupational safety and operational excellence.
Grow Safe CEO Saad Abdul Wahab, Pharmatec Group CEO Dr. Shahida Qaiser, Director of Medical Affairs & Medico Vigilance Dr. Khalid Mahmud Shah, and other senior management and stakeholders attended the ceremony.
