The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) and the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) have signed an agreement to integrate student registration and educational certificate systems.
Under the agreement, NADRA will provide FBISE with verified student information directly from its national registry. The shared data will include students’ full names, fathers’ names, and dates of birth.
The initiative is designed to reduce errors and discrepancies during registration for Matriculation and Intermediate examinations. It will also help improve administrative efficiency and ensure the issuance of accurate and verifiable educational credentials.
As part of the partnership, NADRA and FBISE will also develop a secure Digital Wallet. The system will enable students to access, store, and digitally share their educational certificates.
The collaboration is part of NADRA’s broader effort to connect national identity records with educational data. The authority is gradually working to facilitate secure digital data sharing among secondary and higher secondary education boards, universities, and the Higher Education Commission (HEC).
The agreement was signed at NADRA Headquarters in Islamabad in the presence of FBISE Chairman Dr. Ikram Ali Malik and the Chairman of NADRA.
The new system is expected to make student registration more accurate while supporting the digital transformation of Pakistan’s education and credential-verification processes.
