National Incubation Centers to open in four other cities across Pakistan

Following the successful setup of National Incubation Center in Islamabad, new National Incubation Centers have been signaled to open in different cities across Pakistan. Four incubation centers will be launched in different cities including, Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar, and Quetta.

National ICT R&D Fund has already started to work on building these incubation centers. The request for proposals from different companies for the provision of services to establish and manage the National Incubation Centers have already been sought for. Four proposals have been asked each for the center in Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar, and Quetta.

Funded by the National ICT R&D Fund, the Jazz National Incubation Center was being launched in Islamabad, some months back. The project was aim at making the talent grow from all across Pakistan under the Mobilink-sponsored Jazz XLR8 Program. Mobilink was to operate the incubator with Team Up, which is its service delivery partner. The operations of the project were to be led by big names that include Zouhair Khaliq and Pervaiz Abbasi.
