The Government of Punjab has launched e-Learn She Earn, a new initiative aimed at promoting women’s economic empowerment through digital skills training and remote work opportunities.
The one-year program, estimated at Rs700 million, will target women aged 15 to 35 across the province.
Under the initiative, participants will receive free three-month online training in high-demand fields, including:
- Digital customer care
- Graphic design
- E-commerce store management
- Digital marketing
- Virtual assistance
Officials say the training is designed to equip women with market-relevant skills and improve access to online income opportunities.
In addition to free training, selected participants will receive:
- Laptops
- Internet access
- Monthly stipend support
The government says these measures are intended to remove access barriers and support participants throughout the learning process.
Officials say the program aims to help women work remotely, start online businesses, and contribute to Pakistan’s growing digital economy.
The initiative is also expected to support broader efforts around inclusion, workforce participation and skills development.
