The Sindh provincial government has ordered the complete digitalisation of all route permits and vehicle fitness certificates across the province, with a deadline set for 30 June 2026.
Provincial Transport Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon announced the directive, stating that all vehicle owners and transporters must complete their digital registration before the deadline.
Digital System and Enforcement
Every vehicle owner will receive verifiable digital documents that will be accessible online, replacing all existing manual paperwork currently used across the transport sector in Sindh.
The digital system is designed to eliminate tampering and fraud associated with manual documentation, removing the need for citizens and transporters to visit government offices repeatedly.
Field offices across the province have been directed to process a minimum of 1,000 entries daily to meet the 30 June registration target on time.
All relevant departments of the Sindh transport authority have received strict instructions from the minister to ensure complete compliance before the announced deadline expires.
Post-Deadline Consequences
After 30 June 2026, all manual route permits and fitness certificates will be declared invalid, and only digitally issued documents will be accepted by the provincial transport authorities.
