The GPX motorcycle brand has officially launched in Pakistan. The Royal Power group recently brought this exciting Thai brand to the local market. Initially, the GPX Motorcycles is offering four petrol motorcycles and two electric scooters. Furthermore, the petrol bikes feature 125cc, 150cc, 200cc, and 250cc engines.
This launch requires special attention from local buyers. For decades, a new petrol motorcycle brand has not successfully entered Pakistan. Now, GPX targets the highly popular 125cc and 150cc segments. Currently, the Honda CB150F, Suzuki GS150, and Suzuki GR150 control this space. Previously, Yamaha tried to compete with the YBR but utterly failed. Therefore, GPX is stepping in to make a bold name for itself.
The company confirmed the official booking timeline. Dealerships will start accepting bookings from the end of July or the start of August.
What is GPX Motorcycles?
GPX is a prominent Thai motorcycle manufacturer. They originally started their journey in 2007. Initially, the company focused exclusively on importing and assembling ATVs and off-road dirt bikes.
By 2014, GPX decided to enter the mainstream commuter market. Consequently, they quickly became one of Thailand’s best-selling motorcycle brands. During the 2015 and 2016 Thailand Motor Expos, GPX completely surprised the industry. They secured the number one spot by pulling the highest pre-booking numbers. Currently, GPX exports its motorcycles to Japan, Malaysia, Vietnam, Greece, and Bangladesh. Now, Pakistan successfully joins that growing list.
GPX Motorcycles: A Direct Threat to Honda & Suzuki
GPX will probably challenge the Honda CB150F, Suzuki’s 150cc lineup (GS 150 and GR 150), and the Suzuki GSX 125.
The existing Japanese brands share a common issue. They still sell carbureted engines, old-school commuter looks, and basic halogen headlights. Moreover, they sell these outdated machines at an overpriced tag. However, GPX brings modern features that these Japanese brands have never had to deal with before.
Impressively, GPX prices its motorcycles roughly 30 to 40% cheaper than similar Honda and Suzuki options. For that significantly lower price, buyers get a highly capable machine packed with modern technology.
GPX sets a new benchmark for the local motorcycle industry by offering the following premium features:
- EFI fuel injection
- Dual disc brakes
- ABS + TCS (Traction Control System)
- Oil or liquid-cooled engine
- Digital displays
- Bluetooth with screen mirroring
- LED headlights
- Highly stylish looks
If the brand successfully delivers on these promises, it holds the tools to end the current commuter monopoly.

Spotlight on the Libre 150 & RZ200
Two specific models will likely grab the most consumer attention. First, the Libre 150 costs PKR 375,000. This price sits way below the Honda CB150F. Additionally, it almost perfectly matches the price of the basic Suzuki GS 150. Yet, GPX gives you a 150cc bike with six gears, fuel injection, and a digital display. Pakistani buyers have never seen this impressive feature list at this price point.
Second, the RZ200 sits a clear step above the competition. It is a 200cc oil-cooled naked sports bike. It includes ABS, Bluetooth connectivity, and six gears. You get all this technology for roughly the same price as a Suzuki GR150. Meanwhile, the Suzuki offers nowhere near the same package.
