Xiaomi launches mid-range Mi Note 3 with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage

Xiaomi has launched an all-new cheaper variant of the Mi Note 3 smartphone which was launched a couple of months ago. The new variant of the device comes with an even lower cost but with few changes in the hardware. This new variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage joins the already available variants: 6GB RAM with 64GB storage and another 6GB RAM with 128GB storage.

Along with the variation of 4GB RAM, the new variant will be available in Blue Color. The phone carries all the specifications of the older variants but at a cheaper price point. The device packs a dual rear camera setup comprising of a 12-megapixel on the back. For selfies, it comes with a 16-megapixel shooter and features adaptable AI Beautify options. The device comes with AI-based facial recognition. It also features an IR blaster.

The Mi Note 3 features a four side curved glass body and comes with a 5.5 inch full HD display with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution. The device is powered by a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 octa-core processor and Adreno 540 GPU. The Mi Note 3 comes with a curved back and an under-glass front-facing fingerprint scanner.

Xiaomi Mi Note 3 comes with Android 7.1 Nougat with MIUI 9 interface. A big 3050 mAh non-removable battery powers up the phone. The cost of the phone is CNY 1,999 which is equal to $301. The phone will be available for sale in China from 23rd of November.
