Galaxy Round is here..

Galaxy round - Tech News

Sure, there wasn’t as much buzz when Galaxy Round came out as there was for Samsung Note 3, but this phone definitely deserves a slice of This Week on The AppJuice because the phone giants are trying something new. LG will be following with a curved phone soon.

The Galaxy Rounds packs impressive specs: there is the 5.7 inch and a 1080p screen.  What stands out is the display. Samsung promises that users will enjoy a better grip when holding the phone and can also view notifications by simply tilting the screen on a flat surface.  We are as yet unsure whether this feature will be really useful or popular with users. What do you think of it?

Lumia Amber Update and Windows 8.1

Amber Update - Tech News

The Lumia Amber update that began rolling out in August has been here for a while but if you still haven’t updated, go to your Lumia settings and do it. Amber update brings new features including the Glance Screen and cool features like rejecting calls by flipping your phone as well as the radio.

These features will go on to become a base for the GDR3 update for Windows phones. GDR3 speculators believe that the update will bring almost 20 new accent colors to glance which is currently limited to two only. Meanwhile, you can enjoy the glance and the Nokia Smart Cam on your Lumia.

That said, the main Windows update we are looking forward to it is the Windows 8.1! Microsoft recently paid $100,000 to researchers who discovered a bug in Windows 8.1 and now is all set to roll out the Windows 8.1 update on October 18th. Those who are using Windows 8 already will receive the update for free. Apart from bringing back the Start button to some extent, Windows 8.1 will feature minor tweaks to make the user experience more wholesome
