Motorola has launched its Android 17 beta program shortly after Google released the first Android 17 beta for Pixel devices earlier this month. The announcement marks a significant milestone for the brand, which has faced challenges with slow major Android updates in recent years.
This early beta rollout is notable. Motorola has often taken months to deliver new Android versions to its devices. Now, however, the company is giving select users a chance to test Android 17 before the stable release arrives.
It remains unclear whether this improved pace will continue once Android 17 reaches its final version. Still, the beta program suggests Motorola may be working to rebuild trust among its users.
For those interested, eligibility depends on device and region. If you are in the United States and own a Motorola Edge (2025), you can enroll in the Android 17 beta through the official sign-up page. Meanwhile, Moto G57 users in Europe, the Middle East, or Africa can register through a dedicated regional link.
Motorola has also included the G57 Power in the beta program. Users in Europe, the Middle East, or Africa have a separate enrollment page. In India, G57 Power owners can sign up through a country-specific portal.
