Lenovo has shared more details about its upcoming Legion Y70 (2026), which will launch on May 19. The company first confirmed the phone last week and revealed some early specifications. Now, Lenovo has disclosed the chipset, camera setup, charging features, and display details ahead of the official launch.
The Lenovo Legion Y70 (2026) will run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor. Lenovo will pair the chipset with LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. The phone will also include a large 5,500mm² vapor chamber to improve heat control during gaming and heavy tasks.
On the front, the device will feature a Q10 AMOLED LTPO display with a 144Hz refresh rate and 2K resolution. The screen will support a 360Hz touch sampling rate for faster response times. Lenovo also confirmed support for Dolby Vision, full DC dimming, and up to 7,000 nits peak brightness.
Lenovo has also revealed the complete camera setup of the Legion Y70. The smartphone will carry a 50MP Sony LYT-710 main sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS). It will also include an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 2-in-1 auxiliary sensor. For selfies and video calls, users will get a 32MP front camera.
The company had already confirmed that the Legion Y70 would pack an 8,000mAh battery. Lenovo has now added that the phone will support 90W wired fast charging. It will also offer bypass charging, which helps reduce heat during gaming sessions while connected to power.
Other features include IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. Lenovo also promises improved Wi-Fi and cellular connectivity. In addition, the phone will support dual eSIM functionality.
The Legion Y70 (2026) will arrive in Carbon Black and Ice Soul White color options. Lenovo has already opened pre-reservations for customers in China before the official launch next week.
