Vivo has quietly introduced a new budget smartphone in Mexico, called the vivo T5 4G. This launch happened without major promotion, yet the device brings strong hardware for its price segment. It is powered by the Snapdragon 6s Gen 2 chipset and focuses heavily on battery life.
The vivo T5 4G features a 6.75-inch LCD display. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate for smoother scrolling. The screen comes with an HD+ resolution, which keeps performance light and efficient for daily use.
The device runs on the Snapdragon 6s Gen 2 SoC. It is paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM. In addition, users get up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. This setup is aimed at stable everyday performance.
One of the biggest highlights is the 7,200mAh battery. It also supports 44W fast wired charging. According to vivo, the phone can deliver up to 45 hours of video playback on a single charge. As a result, battery backup becomes a key selling point.
On the camera side, the phone carries a dual rear setup. It includes a 50MP main sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. At the front, a 32MP camera is provided for selfies and video calls. The rear camera sits inside a square-shaped metal module.
The device runs Android 16 with OriginOS 6 out of the box. Security features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Moreover, it comes with IP68 and IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance. Stereo speakers are also included for better audio output.
For connectivity, the vivo T5 4G supports dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.1. It also offers dual SIM 4G support. NFC, an infrared blaster, and a USB Type-C port are available as well.
