Kia has increased the prices of several Sportage and Sorento variants in Pakistan, with the latest price revision attributed to changes in sales tax.
According to the price details shared by PakWheels, the Kia Sportage L 1.6T FWD HEV has received an increase of Rs. 900,000, taking its price from Rs. 11.299 million to Rs. 12.199 million.
The Sportage L 1.6T AWD HEV has seen a larger increase of Rs. 1.059 million, with its price rising from Rs. 12.240 million to Rs. 13.299 million.
Meanwhile, prices of the Kia Sorento hybrid variants have also been revised. The Sorento 1.6T FWD HEV now costs Rs. 16.299 million, up Rs. 1 million from its previous price of Rs. 15.299 million.
The Sorento 1.6T AWD HEV has increased by Rs. 1.2 million, moving from Rs. 16.699 million to Rs. 17.899 million.
Kia has also listed the Sorento 1.6T AWD PHEV at Rs. 18.999 million. The previous price and price difference for this variant were not provided in the shared price announcement.
The latest price revision comes as automakers continue to adjust vehicle prices following changes in taxation and other input costs. According to the announcement, the increases are specifically due to the revised sales tax.
