Samsung’s upcoming open-ear earbuds have appeared in new renders, revealing more details about the company’s next audio product. The earbuds are expected to launch as the Galaxy Buds On. The new images were shared in a report to provide a closer look at the earbuds and their unusual clip-on design. The latest details also reveal some of the features Samsung may offer.
The Galaxy Buds On use a two-part design that sits around the ear. One section houses the speaker, while the other rests behind the ear. Both parts are connected by a silicone loop for a secure fit.
The renders also show pogo-pin connectors on the earbuds. These connectors will charge the buds when they are placed inside their charging case. The leaked images show a black finish, while a white version is also expected.
Samsung is reportedly adding automatic volume control to the Galaxy Buds On. The feature can adjust volume based on the user’s surroundings. A separate volume boost option is also expected to be available.
The earbuds will also support gesture controls. Users may be able to perform actions with a simple head nod. Quick gestures could also be used to start voice recording or access Galaxy AI.
Samsung has not confirmed when the Galaxy Buds On will be launched. Earlier reports pointed to a launch alongside the Galaxy S26 FE. However, that launch window did not happen. The earbuds are now expected to arrive sometime in Q4 2026. Samsung has yet to confirm the launch date, pricing, or full specifications of the Galaxy Buds On.
