The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has extended the deadline for filing income tax returns for Tax Year 2026 from September 30 to October 15, 2026.
The extension has been issued under Section 214A of the Income Tax Ordinance, 2001, following requests from various trade bodies and tax bar associations.
The revised deadline applies to individuals and other taxpayers who were originally required to file their income tax returns by September 30, 2026.
Taxpayers have now been given additional time until October 15, 2026, to submit their returns for Tax Year 2026.
