Master Auto Engineering (MAE), the official partner of Chery vehicles in Pakistan, has highlighted another major milestone for the global Chery brand after the company crossed 20 million cumulative vehicle sales worldwide. Chery also became the first Chinese automaker to export more than 200,000 vehicles in a single month, reflecting its growing presence in international markets.
The company reported that it sold 276,820 vehicles in July 2026, marking a 23.3% year-on-year increase. During the same month, exports reached a record 202,533 vehicles, up 70.1% from a year earlier. This made Chery the first Chinese car manufacturer to cross the 200,000 monthly export mark.
Chery also recorded strong growth in the new energy vehicle (NEV) segment. It sold 129,067 NEVs in July, representing a 97.5% year-on-year increase and setting another monthly record for the company.
From January to July 2026, Chery sold 1.63 million vehicles worldwide. Its exports during the same period exceeded 1.14 million units, highlighting the company’s continued international expansion.
The automaker also achieved another milestone in the corporate sector. After Chery Holding Group appeared in the Fortune Global 500 in previous years, Chery Automobile Co., Ltd. (9973.HK) entered the 2026 Fortune Global 500 as an independently listed company. It secured the 383rd position on the list.
In addition, Chery Automobile ranked 30th globally in the Fortune Global 500 Return on Equity (ROE) Top 50 with an ROE of 36.5%. It also secured the highest position among Chinese companies included in the ranking.
The company’s global brand value also continued to grow. Chery ranked 11th overall and first in the automotive category in the 2026 Kantar BrandZ Chinese Global Brand Builders Top 50. This marks the brand’s ninth consecutive appearance on the annual list.
These global achievements also strengthen Chery’s position in Pakistan, where Master Auto Engineering, a company of Master Group, represents the brand. The company said it remains focused on expanding local manufacturing, strengthening its nationwide dealership and aftersales network, and introducing more intelligent and new energy mobility solutions for Pakistani customers.
Commenting on the achievement, Samir Malik, CEO of Master Auto Engineering, said:
“These remarkable global milestones demonstrate Chery’s consistent focus on innovation, quality and long-term sustainable growth. Beyond its automotive business, Chery is also expanding its technology portfolio. The company said cumulative deliveries of its AiMOGA humanoid robot have surpassed 2,000 units across more than 60 countries and regions, showing its continued investment in intelligent technologies.
Master Auto Engineering said it will continue bringing Chery’s global innovations to Pakistan through local manufacturing, product development, nationwide network expansion, and sustainable mobility solutions.
