The Honor X7e Plus 5G has surfaced in new certification listings, suggesting that Honor is preparing to launch a 5G variant of the recently announced Honor X7e 4G. The upcoming smartphone has received certification from the UAE’s TDRA authority and has also appeared in the SGS database. While the listings confirm the device’s existence, they do not reveal any details about its hardware or features.
It remains unclear what upgrades the “Plus” branding will bring. At the moment, 5G connectivity appears to be the most notable difference compared to the Honor X7e 4G. As a result, it is still uncertain how similar the two devices will be.
The SGS certification also hints at a wider launch. Based on the listing, the Honor X7e Plus 5G could become available in Europe and Saudi Arabia in addition to the UAE.
So far, Honor has not shared any official specifications for the new model. However, the recently launched Honor X7e 4G offers some clues about the lineup. The device features a 6.61-inch LCD with a 720 x 1604 resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 1,010 nits of peak brightness.
The Honor X7e 4G is powered by the MediaTek Helio G81 processor. It comes with 6GB of RAM and offers 128GB and 256GB storage options. The phone also includes a 50MP primary camera on the rear and a 5MP selfie camera on the front.
In addition, the device packs a 7,500mAh battery with support for 45W wired charging. It remains to be seen whether the Honor X7e Plus 5G will keep these specifications or introduce further improvements.
More information about the smartphone is expected to surface in the coming weeks as its launch approaches.
