The Finance Department has directed the relevant departments to implement the revised rates in line with the cabinet approval.
Under the new structure, the monthly House Requisition Allowance will range from Rs6,000 for employees in BPS-03 to BPS-06, up to Rs52,000 for those in BPS-22.
Employees in BPS-07 to BPS-10 will receive Rs9,000, while those in BPS-11 to BPS-13 will get Rs13,000. Staff in BPS-14 to BPS-15 will be paid Rs16,000, and those in BPS-16 will receive Rs18,000.

The revised allowance applies to employees across all grades from BPS-03 to BPS-22 in the Civil Secretariat, Chief Minister Secretariat and Governor Secretariat.
The move follows a similar decision by the Supreme Court of Pakistan, which approved a 100 per cent increase in the utility allowance for its employees. The hike was approved by Chief Justice of Pakistan Yahya Afridi and takes effect from July 1, 2026.
Under the revised structure, Supreme Court employees in Grades 1 to 6 will receive a utility allowance of Rs12,000 per month, up from Rs6,000. Employees in Grades 7 to 10 will see their allowance rise from Rs8,000 to Rs16,000, while staff in Grades 11 to 15 will now receive Rs20,000, up from Rs10,000.
