Huawei has confirmed a major product launch event for August 5. The company will introduce several new devices, including the Huawei nova 16 SE, a new MateBook Fold Ultimate Design, the MateBook Pro S, an upgraded MatePad Pro, and a new lineup of RGB MiniLED TVs.
The Huawei nova 16 SE will be one of the main highlights of the event. Huawei has confirmed that the phone will use the Kirin 8020 chipset. It will also feature a 6.84-inch AMOLED display with up to 8,000 nits of peak brightness.
The smartphone will include a 50MP primary rear camera with Red Maple Imaging technology. In addition, it will pack a large 8,500mAh battery with support for 66W wired fast charging. The device will ship with HarmonyOS pre-installed.
Huawei will also introduce an upgraded version of the MatePad Pro. However, the company has not shared any specifications or features of the new tablet yet.
Another key announcement will be the updated MateBook Fold Ultimate Design. The new model succeeds Huawei’s original MateBook Fold, which featured an 18-inch foldable display. Huawei says the latest version will be available in three color options.
Alongside these products, Huawei will launch the new MateBook Pro S. The company claims the laptop weighs only 798 grams, making it one of the lightest models in its lineup.
Huawei has already opened pre-orders for most of the upcoming devices through its official online store. However, the upgraded MatePad Pro is not yet available for pre-order.
