Qualcomm has confirmed that it will introduce two new Snapdragon 8 Elite chips at its annual Snapdragon Summit. The company teased the move on X, ending months of reports about a dual-chip launch.
The teaser uses phrases such as “Two changes the game,” “Opportunity doubled,” and “Dual 8 Elites.” Qualcomm has not revealed the official names yet, but the message strongly points to two new flagship SoCs.

The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 and Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro are set to debut on September 22. Both chips are expected to be built using a 2nm manufacturing process.
Qualcomm’s Pro model has already appeared in a leaked AnTuTu 11 benchmark. The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro reportedly scored 4,835,412 points in the test.
The company is expected to share more details about both chips at the Snapdragon Summit. The event should also reveal how Qualcomm plans to position the two new flagship processors.
