A new leak has revealed the complete specifications of Xiaomi’s upcoming global Redmi Note 17 series. The latest details arrive just days after the lineup’s European pricing surfaced online. This time, the leak also includes official-looking renders of all four models, giving a closer look at their design and hardware before launch.
The standard Redmi Note 17 will feature a 6.99-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2396 pixels. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate and reaches up to 1,800 nits of peak brightness. Gorilla Glass 7i protects the screen.
For photography, the phone will include a 50MP main camera with an f/1.8 aperture. On the front, users will get a 16MP selfie camera. The device will pack a 7,700mAh battery and support 45W wired fast charging.
According to the leak, Xiaomi will offer the Redmi Note 17 in both 4G and 5G versions. The 4G model will use the Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 2 processor. Meanwhile, the 5G version will feature the Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 chipset.
The 4G model will come with 4GB, 6GB, or 8GB of RAM. Storage options include 128GB and 256GB. The 5G version will be available with 6GB or 8GB of RAM, along with the same 128GB and 256GB storage choices.
Both models will reportedly come in Celestial Purple, Sky Teal, and Black. They will carry an IP65 rating for dust and splash resistance. Xiaomi is also expected to ship them with Android 16 and HyperOS 3. Each device measures 169.7 x 79.14 x 8.45mm and weighs 224g.
The Redmi Note 17 Pro will bring several upgrades over the standard model. It will feature a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1280 x 2772 pixels. The panel also supports a 120Hz refresh rate and delivers up to 3,500 nits of peak brightness. Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protects the display.
On the back, the Redmi Note 17 Pro will include a 50MP main camera and an 8MP ultrawide sensor. A 16MP front-facing camera will handle selfies and video calls.
The phone will run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 chipset. Buyers will have 6GB, 8GB, or 12GB of RAM to choose from. Storage options include 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB. The 128GB version uses UFS 2.2 storage, while the larger variants feature faster UFS 3.1 storage.
The Redmi Note 17 Pro will house a large 8,340mAh battery with support for 67W wired fast charging. It will also offer strong durability with IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance. The handset measures 163.45 x 78.27 x 8.46mm and weighs 222g. Xiaomi will reportedly sell it in Sky Blue, Satin Orange, Purple, and Black.
At the top of the lineup sits the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max. The leak suggests it shares the same display and rear camera setup as the Pro model. However, it upgrades the front camera to 32MP.
The Redmi Note 17 Pro Max will use the Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 processor. It will be available with 8GB or 12GB of RAM. Buyers can choose between 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB of storage. The 128GB model uses UFS 2.1 storage, while the 256GB and 512GB models use faster UFS 4.0 storage.
The phone measures 163.44 x 78.27 x 8.6mm and weighs 229.5g. It will also pack the largest battery in the series at 9,210mAh. In addition, it supports 100W wired fast charging. Xiaomi has not announced an official launch date yet. However, the Redmi Note 17 series is expected to debut globally soon. More details should emerge as the launch gets closer.
