Samsung Electronics has partnered with Spotify across the Middle East, North Africa, and Türkiye. The deal aims to make music easier to discover, share, and enjoy across Samsung devices. The partnership covers smartphones, tablets, TVs, sound devices, wearables, and digital appliances. It also connects Spotify more closely with Samsung’s wider device ecosystem.
As part of the deal, buyers of select Samsung devices can get up to three months of Spotify Premium. The offer varies by market and device. The partnership also lets users move their listening experience between Samsung devices. For example, users can start a song on a Galaxy smartphone with Galaxy Buds.
They can then continue listening through a Samsung TV and soundbar at home. Playback can also be controlled from a Galaxy Watch. Samsung said the collaboration builds on its wider focus on connected devices and services. The company is working with partners to add more value to its hardware.
“Technology should bring people closer to the things they love, and few things connect people the way music does,” said Omar Saheb.
Omar Saheb is Regional VP of Marketing and Online Business at Samsung Electronics MENA. He said the partnership gives customers more ways to discover and enjoy music. The Spotify Premium experience includes ad-free listening and higher audio quality. Users can also download songs and listen to them offline.
Spotify’s Jam feature also allows friends to create a shared queue. This lets multiple people take part in the same listening session.
The partnership also targets younger listeners across the region. According to Spotify, nearly seven in ten streams come from listeners aged 18 to 34. That figure covers MENA, Türkiye, and Pakistan. Samsung and Spotify are using the partnership to make music more accessible across everyday devices.
“At Spotify, we are always working to make every listening moment feel more personal, meaningful, and worth it,” said Rami Jamal.
Rami Jamal is Head of Partnerships at Spotify for South Asia, Middle East, and Africa. He said the deal brings Spotify into more moments throughout users’ daily lives.
